Julia Reiss is a writer and humorist based in New York City. Born in Los Angeles, she grew up between Paris and the U.S. Julia attended NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she earned her B.A. in social theory and politics.
Julia's writing career actually began on the stage. Since 2012, she has performed standup comedy on both coasts; although these days, you're more likely to find her holding a pen than a microphone.
Julia is an Associate Producer on Problematic with Moshe Kasher (pilot), which was picked up by Comedy Central in 2016. She is also a writer on truTV's Comedy Knockout (Season 2B). She has bylines in various publications including Vogue, Complex, Fusion, and Thrillist.
